The Austrian Vascular Biology Organization will donate a prize (500€) to the best publication in the field of Vascular Biology in 2023/24 from an Austrian group, i.e., the address of the corresponding author needs to be in Austria. The date of publication must be between 1st January 2023 and 31st July 2024. Publications that were previously awarded with a publication prize are not eligible.
The awardee commits to not submit the publication to other awards. The prize goes to the first author of the publication, it can be shared in case of joint first authorship. The publication will be selected by a panel of reviewers of AVBO members. The recipient agrees to give an oral presentation of his/her work at the Cardiovascular Research Cluster Meeting on Nov. 11th 2024.
