The “Austrian Vascular Biology Organization” again awarded a prize of 500€ for the best publication in the field of vascular biology 2024/25 by an Austrian research group.
This year, the prize went to Johannes Thaler and Carla Tripisciano for their publication in Blood:
Saliva of persons with hemophilia A triggers coagulation via extrinsic tenase complexes. Blood (2024) 144 (25): 2666–2677. https://doi.org/10.1182/blood.2024025093. The prize was awarded at the Cardiovascular Research Cluster Meeting on November 3, 2025, where Johannes Thaler briefly presented the publication.
